Efforts to prevent migrant smuggling by the Kuşadası District Gendarmerie Command continue unabated. According to the information obtained, three irregular migrants attempting to cross illegally to the Greek island of Samos by swimming were apprehended by gendarmerie teams during a patrol in the Dilek Peninsula National Park area.
Along with the irregular migrants, maritime equipment was also seized, and the irregular migrants were handed over to the GÖKSEM (Migration Management Center) following the completion of their processing.
