GFB leader Cem Gölbaşı detained
The leader of the Fenerbahçe fan group Genç Fenerbahçeliler Derneği (GFB) and 7 others accompanying him have been detained in an operation conducted by the Istanbul police. The suspects were detained on charges of 'extortion,' 'robbery,' and 'deprivation of liberty.'
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Branch took action following a video shared on social media by the group's leader, Cem Gölbaşı, and 7 others.
Following the investigation, the 7 individuals were apprehended and detained in an operation. They were taken to the Organized Crime Branch located at the Istanbul Police Department's Fatih headquarters for questioning.
It is alleged that the suspects forced an individual who had mocked a photo of the group's leader, C.G., to wear a wig while threatening him, and that they seized his vehicle and mobile phones.

The police interrogation of the suspects, who were detained on charges of deprivation of liberty and robbery, is ongoing.
