'Gıda Dedektifi' account owner Musa Özsoy detained

Musa Özsoy, the owner of the account known as ‘Gıda Dedektifi’ (Food Detective), which is known for its posts about the food industry on the social media platform X, was detained at Istanbul Airport.

In the announcement of the detention made from the Gıda Dedektifi account, it was claimed that the lawsuit had not been served to the parties involved. The following statements were included in the post;

“Our account owner, Musa Özsoy, was detained at Istanbul Airport following a “civil” lawsuit filed by a company.

We leave it to your discretion that a detention was carried out based on a civil lawsuit and that a search warrant was issued without the lawsuit even being served to us. #gıdadedektifi ”

REASON: COMPLAINT BY ÜLKER

In the following hours, it was announced from the "Gıda Dedektifi" account that Özsoy had been released. Furthermore, it was stated that the post subject to the complaint that led to Musa Özsoy's detention was related to Ülker.

Özsoy, who was detained due to a complaint by Yıldız Holding, was released after giving his statement.
