Giray Altınok responds to claims he deleted his Bolu tweet

A fire at the 12-story Grand Kartal Hotel, located at the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center, has caused a major disaster. According to the latest findings, 79 of the 237 people staying at the hotel for the semester break have lost their lives.

Many political figures and celebrities expressed their reactions to the negligence surrounding the disaster, which has plunged Turkey into mourning and led to the declaration of a one-day national period of mourning. One of those figures was the star of the series 'Prens', actor Giray Altınok.

The famous actor wrote on his social media account regarding the fire: "One writes and deletes. Words, curses, and maledictions are not enough. Damn you all."

Altınok subsequently deleted this post. Following this move, which drew reactions from some X users, the famous actor deactivated his X account.

ALTINOK RESPONDED VIA INSTAGRAM

Giray Altınok reacted to the news reports about him via his Instagram account. Altınok wrote the following:

"I supposedly deleted this tweet. Why on earth would I delete it? I just wanted to pause this place for a while, that's all. I can't take it anymore. I didn't even receive any backlash anyway. Why would I? Some found my writing insufficient, I understand. Everyone's method of coping with pain, their strength, and their language are different. Finding someone to blame is easy; finding the culprit is hard."
