Gökhan Özoğuz’s prosecutor testimony in Ahbap investigation revealed: I have directed my circle as well

The procedures for singer Gökhan Özoğuz, who came to the prosecutor's office to give testimony as part of the Ahbap investigation, have been completed.

Stating that there was no money traffic with the mentioned names, Özoğuz used the expressions, "I did not have any money transfers through any account belonging to Haluk Levent, Oğuzhan Uğur, or the Ahbap Association."

He spoke about the tweet he posted during the February 6 earthquake

Speaking about the post he made on his social media account during the Kahramanmaraş earthquake, Özoğuz said, "As can be seen in the post, it was not a post directed solely at Ahbap; I tagged all associations and institutions that were being donated to due to the earthquake. If I had any intention other than helping, I would not have mentioned institutions like AFAD and Kızılay at all."

"I did not refer to the Republic of Turkey in my statement about feeling abandoned"

Speaking about a video shared on another social media platform, Özoğuz said, "In the post made on the social media platform, I had a statement saying 'terrible things have happened and are happening, I truly feel the country is this abandoned for the first time in my life,' but I definitely did not state this for the Republic of Turkey or any public institution."

"I directed my circle not to provide aid to Haluk Levent and his association"

Speaking about the claims that Haluk Levent used concert money for gambling, Özoğuz said, "A long time ago, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, I used to hear that he would go to 4 university concerts a day, and I also heard that he used the income from these for gambling and betting debts, but I have not witnessed this firsthand. However, I have always had the will that aid should not be provided to Haluk Levent and his association, and I have directed my close circle on this matter as well," he stated.

"If my good intentions were misused and I caused aid to be used for bad deeds and transactions, it would be a great disappointment for me," said Gökhan Özoğuz, who left the courthouse after his testimony.
