Gökhan Zan's 'Either change or the Hatay alliance' statement!

The Republican People's Party (CHP) has re-nominated the current mayor Lütfü Savaş in Hatay, one of the cities most affected by the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.

While reactions to the CHP's decision regarding Lütfü Savaş continue, former national football player Gökhan Zan, who made Hatay's voice heard after the earthquake, made a post on his social media account.

"EITHER CHANGE OR THE HATAY ALLIANCE!"

Addressing the earthquake survivors in Hatay, Zan stated, "My dear fellow citizens of Hatay, with the hope of a beautiful week, walk with hope in your hearts... Either Change! or the HATAY ALLIANCE!"

HE HAD RESIGNED FROM THE IYI PARTY

Gökhan Zan, who was a parliamentary candidate for the IYI Party in the May 14 elections, had resigned from the IYI Party following the decision not to form an alliance with the CHP.

Zan had met with TİP Chairman Erkan Baş, and it was alleged that he could be nominated as a mayoral candidate by the TİP. The TİP, however, had announced that there was no definitive request on this matter yet.
