Governor's Office announces: Traffic ban for motorcycles and motorcycle couriers due to adverse weather conditions
Due to adverse weather conditions in Kocaeli, motorcycles, scooters, electric scooters, and motorcycle couriers have been prohibited from traffic as a precautionary measure today between 1:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
Following the heavy rain and thunderstorm warning issued by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the Kocaeli Governor's Office has taken a new decision regarding traffic safety.
According to the statement made by the Governor's Office, due to adverse weather conditions, motorcycles, scooters, electric scooters, and motorcycle couriers have been prohibited from traffic as a precautionary measure today between 1:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
The Governor's Office stated that the decision was taken to ensure the safety of drivers and to prevent potential negative incidents, urging citizens to heed the warnings.
