Governor's Office approves: TÜGVA granted access to all schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education

The Istanbul Governor's Office has granted permission for TÜGVA to set up stands, hang posters and banners, and visit classrooms in schools. 

According to a report by Deniz Güngör from BirGün; while it was revealed that 6 schools in 7 neighborhoods in the Bulancak district of Giresun, which passed from the AKP to the CHP, were allocated to the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), the doors of schools in Istanbul continue to be opened to TÜGVA by the Governor's Office.

TÜGVA REQUESTED, GOVERNOR'S OFFICE GRANTED

It has emerged that TÜGVA, whose management includes Bilal Erdoğan, the son of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will organize the “TÜGVA Istanbul Nature Camp” for students in Edirne between July 1 and August 5.

An application was made to the Provincial Directorate of National Education by TÜGVA Istanbul Representative Beytullah Çiçen regarding the camp, which will be organized within the scope of the protocol signed between the MEB and TÜGVA on February 25, 2021. In his application, Çiçen requested permission for TÜGVA to set up stands, hang posters and banners, and hold conferences and classroom visits in schools between May 13 and June 14.

It has emerged that the Istanbul Governor's Office, responding on May 14 to the application sent by TÜGVA on May 8, granted permission for TÜGVA to set up stands, hang posters and banners, and hold conferences and classroom visits in all schools affiliated with the MEB.

SUMMER SCHOOL TO BE OPENED

TÜGVA will also carry out the 6-week TÜGVA Istanbul Middle School Summer School project, which also targets middle school students. The summer school project, where courses such as the Holy Quran and Basic Religious Knowledge will be taught, will be carried out within the scope of the protocol signed between the MEB and TÜGVA. 

Students who have graduated from the 4th grade and students in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades of middle school will participate in the project, which will be held between June 24 and August 9.
