Groom's rampage in Fethiye: 3 dead

Muğla's Fethiye district saw Özcan A. shoot and kill his father-in-law Şükrü Aysu and mother-in-law Adile Aysu with a handgun at their home in the Kayaköy neighborhood, following an alleged ongoing dispute.

According to reports, while searching for his wife at a nearby villa, Özcan A. also opened fire on Muhammet Akbaba, who was cleaning the pool.

Upon notification, numerous medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Akbaba, who was critically injured, lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.

It was stated that the suspect, Özcan A., also injured 2 other people, whose names have not yet been identified, at another villa, and that the injured are currently receiving treatment at hospitals in the district.

A search operation has been launched to capture the suspect, who fled after abandoning his car in a wooded area near the scene. It was noted that law enforcement officers are conducting searches along the roads and in the wooded areas of the region.
