In the Maden district of Elazığ, 3 wagons of a freight train carrying copper ore derailed due to a ground shift. While there were no casualties or injuries in the accident, material damage occurred in the area. The railway line has been closed to traffic.
The incident occurred in the Ziyartepe area of the Maden district. According to the information obtained, a ground shift occurred during the passage of a freight train carrying copper ore, which was traveling from Karabük to Mazıdağı. Following the ground shift, 3 wagons derailed.

While there were no injuries in the accident, material damage occurred. It was reported that the Maden-Ergani line has been closed to train traffic and that TCDD's maintenance, repair, and assistance team has begun work at the scene.
