Gülben Ergen responds to Oktay Saral's 'morality' criticism of Özgür Özel: Does decency include demeaning a mother?

The political agenda continues to be occupied by the profane language used by Özel toward Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan, who announced his resignation from the CHP. While messages condemning Özel have been coming from the government, Oktay Saral also criticized the CHP leader over "political morality and standards." Gülben Ergen responded days later to Saral, who had targeted her for her role in the series "Ailem" (My Family). Ergen commented under Saral's criticism of Özel.

Saral's social media post criticizing Özel is as follows:

"Politics is a matter of decency and standards. For someone who claims to serve the nation to attack their interlocutor with profanity and insults is a clear indication that they cannot carry the weight of the office they hold. The ugly and inappropriate words uttered by Mr. Özgür Özel toward Mesut Özarslan are nothing more than an effort to drag politics into a swamp of polemics and lack of standards. In our civilization, one's word is one's honor. The words that come out of one's mouth are a mirror of the person. Let it not be forgotten that the style of expression is the person himself... The language you use clearly reveals who you are, what you represent, and what mentality you carry."

Gülben Ergen's response to Saral is as follows:
