Journalist Gülbin Tosun has announced that NOW TV has placed her on 'mandatory leave.' It had been alleged that Tosun was dismissed due to a social media post she made recently criticizing Mansur Yavaş.
NOW TV Main News Bulletin anchor Gülbin Tosun stated, "I have been placed on mandatory leave. My termination has not been issued yet. Just for your information."
It had been alleged that Gülbin Tosun's employment was terminated due to a tweet she posted regarding Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
"MY TERMINATION HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED YET"
In a post on her social media account, Tosun used the following expressions:
"Thank you so, so much for your messages of support. You are very valuable. I am glad you exist, dear friends. I have been placed on mandatory leave. My termination has not been issued yet. Just for your information. There is no taking a step back from animal rights."
