Gulf of Aden mandate approved
The presidential mandate to extend the deployment of Turkish Armed Forces naval elements in the Gulf of Aden, Somali territorial waters, and the Arabian Sea for one year has been approved by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
The presidential mandate regarding the extension of the deployment period for Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) naval elements in the Gulf of Aden, Somali territorial waters and adjacent areas, the Arabian Sea, and surrounding regions has been voted on and approved in the General Assembly of the Parliament.
