Gültekin Uysal's claim regarding the Table of Six: We brought this party to the brink of being a partner in power
Speaking at his party's 15th Ordinary Congress, Democrat Party Chairman Gültekin Uysal said, "Even if some do not accept it, we brought this party to the brink of being a partner in power. What is 1.5 percent of the vote? We brought it to that point."
The Democrat Party (DP) is holding its 15th Ordinary Congress.
DP Chairman Gültekin Uysal made statements at his party's congress.
Referring to the Table of Six formed by the Nation Alliance in the May 14-28, 2023 elections, Uysal said, "It happened this way, it happened that way... We also have the Table of Six experience. Even if some do not accept it, we brought this party to the brink of being a partner in power. What is 1.5 percent of the vote? We brought it to that point."
Uysal continued his words as follows:
"We have many troubles. Our hearts desire other things. But I declare today that in the upcoming elections, as the Democrat Party, we will be a rising will before the nation with our own name and emblem.
We have no other way besides this!"
