While rejecting allegations of a relationship between CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the AKP, Gürsel Tekin asked former Parliament Speaker Bülent Arınç why he was interfering in the internal affairs of the Republican People's Party.

Tekin demanded that Arınç publicly explain what he had said to Kılıçdaroğlu regarding this process.

Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as the CHP İstanbul Provincial Chairman by a court decision, attended a membership participation ceremony at his party's Istanbul Provincial Headquarters.

Tekin claimed that businessman Aziz İhsan Aktaş had done business with 37 CHP-run municipalities and had established very close relationships with two former deputy chairmen, adding that these two individuals had not filed a criminal complaint regarding the allegations.
