Gürsel Tekin: Kılıçdaroğlu is the leader who made you who you are; I never heard a single objection from you during his tenure

Regarding the criticisms directed at Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the position of Chairman following a decision of absolute nullity concerning the CHP, Tekin stated: "Bring me a concrete, clear, and understandable document of betrayal regarding Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu. There is such a crowd on this podium. We will all shout together. Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is the leader who made you who you are. We were working in the same team with Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu. You were also in the same team. Not once in my life did I hear an objection from you regarding Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's practices," he said. 

Stating that internal party problems must be resolved, Tekin said, 'We must first solve our own problems. We must resolve our family issues. We must establish the law of brotherhood.'

Noting that they have launched an initiative for members who left the party to return to their "father's house," Tekin said they would hold regular participation ceremonies in the coming period.

Arguing that some individuals were removed from the party without any legal justification, Tekin said:

'1,816 of our friends were torn away from their father's house without any legal justification. But strangely enough, I have difficulty understanding it. They sent nearly 2,000 of our friends away from the party just because they shared a photo of Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu or stood side by side with us.'

“Who are the side connections of these informants and slanderers?” 

Stating that CHP Group Chairman Özgür Özel frequently emphasizes 'informants and slanderers,' Tekin expressed the following:

'Well, who are the side connections of these informants and slanderers? Will you not have any self-criticism? Will you not have a reckoning with the party members who guided and showed the way for these informants and slanderers to focus on the Republican People's Party?'

Stating that Aziz İhsan Aktaş has made various allegations, Tekin claimed that no legal action has been taken regarding these statements.

Reacting to the criticisms directed at CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Tekin said:

"Bring me a concrete, clear, and understandable document of betrayal regarding Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu. There is such a crowd on this podium. We will all shout together. Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is the leader who made you who you are. We were working in the same team with Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu. You were also in the same team. Stating that Kılıçdaroğlu has undergone various audits throughout his political life, Tekin criticized the rhetoric directed at the former chairman.

Touching upon the tension experienced in front of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency in recent days, Tekin said they are seeking a consensus with party officials.

Stating that they argue no one can place a mortgage on the will of CHP delegates, Tekin expressed that they completed their statements despite the tension.

Tekin stated that they will continue both participation ceremonies and various political activities in the coming period, adding that the CHP must refocus on Turkey's real agenda.
