Gürsel Tekin tension leaves 41 people unemployed
The crisis that began in the CHP with the appointment of Gürsel Tekin as a trustee to the provincial presidency continues. It is alleged that the employment contracts of 41 people who did not accept Tekin and did not come to work in protest have been terminated.
The appointment of Gürsel Tekin as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency caused great tension when he entered the building accompanied by police on September 8, despite having said, 'I will not come with the police.'
The CHP Headquarters had changed the provincial building in Sarıyer to serve as the office for Chairman Özgür Özel and designated the address of the Istanbul Provincial Presidency as the Bahçelievler District Presidency.
Although the building in Sarıyer is now Özel's office, Tekin visits the building from time to time.
According to a report in Sözcü, 41 staff members who did not accept Tekin did not come to work in protest. It is alleged that the employment contracts of the 41 personnel who said, "We do not recognize Gürsel Tekin," have been terminated.
