Hammer attack on police in Üsküdar! 3 people, including 1 officer, injured
A dispute broke out in Üsküdar between a retired officer stopped by police and the officers involved. While the retired officer attacked a police officer with a hammer, his son opened fire with a gun. In response, the other police officer on duty fired at the father and son, neutralizing the suspects. Three people, including one police officer, were injured and taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred in the morning hours on Söğütlü Çayır Street in Üsküdar. According to allegations, Y.T.O., who was driving his car and is reported to be a retired officer, was stopped by police conducting an inspection.

Following the dispute that arose, the retired officer Y.T.O. called his son, a lawyer named K.O., and asked him to come to the scene. Upon arriving, the lawyer began arguing with the police officer who had stopped his father. As the argument escalated into a fight, the retired officer Y.T.O. struck the police officer in the head with a hammer.
His son, K.O., then opened fire with a gun. In response, the other police officer on duty returned fire, resulting in injuries to the suspects identified as Y.T.O. and K.O. Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While the three injured individuals, including one police officer, were taken to the hospital, the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
