‘Happy Friday’ post from Erdoğan’s Instagram account
While the BTK imposed an access ban on Instagram in Turkey, a 'Happy Friday' post was shared from the Instagram account of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Access to Instagram in Turkey was blocked by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) as of August 2.
In a statement regarding the matter, the BTK announced that access to Instagram was shut down on the grounds that it did not comply with 'catalog crimes'.
'HAPPY FRIDAY' POST FROM ERDOĞAN
While citizens reacted to the access ban imposed on Instagram, a 'Happy Friday' post was shared from the Instagram account of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The post in question was seen by users who were able to access Instagram via VPN applications.
