Süleyman Doğruöz, who participated in attacks against students at Ankara University, has been appointed as the Public Prosecutor of Ceyhan, Adana.
Süleyman Doğruöz, who served as the 'head of the law faculty organization of the Ülkü Ocakları' at Ankara University and took part in attacks against revolutionary students using cutting tools such as knives, cleavers, machetes, and clubs, has been appointed as the Public Prosecutor of Ceyhan, Adana, following the 26th Term Judicial and 16th Term Administrative Judiciary Draw Ceremony held at Beştepe with the participation of President Erdoğan. The decision regarding the appointment of Doğruöz, along with 1,044 other judges and prosecutors, was published in today's Official Gazette.
According to the report in Birgün; Süleyman Doğruöz's name had previously appeared in the media due to his participation in fascist attacks against revolutionary students during his time as a student.
In June 2017, a nationalist group at the Ankara University Faculty of Communication attacked left-wing students with knives, cleavers, machetes, and clubs, and also damaged the faculty building during the two-day attacks.
In a photograph related to the attack, Süleyman Doğruöz, who has now been appointed as the Public Prosecutor of Ceyhan, Adana, was seen holding a knife.
