Fatih Gören, who works in truffle hunting and beekeeping, was hunting for mushrooms in Uşak on April 1 when his dog named "Radar" wandered off and did not return.
After searching for his dog for days without success, Gören had promised 10 kilos of natural honey to whoever found it.
Having returned to Samsun, Gören received the news the other day that his dog had been found by Cemil Nas, the neighborhood headman (muhtar) of Şehitler Neighborhood in the Çivril district of Denizli, and his son İbrahim Can Nas while they were searching for morel mushrooms.
Gören traveled back to Denizli from Samsun to retrieve his dog and fulfilled his promise of honey.
He thanked the person who found his dog by giving them 10 kilos of honey.
