He had been released: New development regarding the driver who hit a young woman in Beşiktaş

Last Monday morning in the Abbasağa neighborhood of Beşiktaş, a luxury SUV driver lost control of his vehicle while speeding downhill, hitting three parked cars before flipping over and striking Dila Kıraslı, who was walking on the road.

The flipping vehicle then hit another car and a motorcycle. Upon notification, police and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams provided the first intervention to the injured woman at the scene. Kıraslı was then taken to Taksim First Aid Hospital and later transferred to Bakırköy Sadi Konuk State Hospital.

The driver, Furkan D., who hit Dila Kıraslı and four vehicles, fled the scene.

Furkan P., who claimed to be the driver at the scene but was determined to have been sitting in the passenger seat during the accident, was detained.

DETAINED AGAIN

According to the report in Sabah, the police launched an investigation into the incident. The police teams, who initiated work on the matter, detained the fleeing driver in Çerkezköy. The driver, Furkan D., had been released after giving his statement.

The suspect was detained again this morning. After the procedures at the Çerkezköy police station, the suspect Furkan D. was referred to the courthouse.

On the other hand, it was reported that Dila Kıraslı, who is known to work as a human resources manager at a private company, suffered fractures in her body as a result of the collision and that her health condition is improving.
