He had called for a boycott of his film: Zeki Demirkubuz deletes profanity-laden tweet directed at Yeni Şafak columnist
Director Zeki Demirkubuz has deleted the tweet in which he responded with profanity to Yeni Şafak columnist İsmail Kılıçarslan, who had said about him, "He didn't utter a single sentence about Gaza; boycott his film, watch it pirated, don't give him your money."
Director Zeki Demirkubuz responded with profanity on his X account on November 23 to Yeni Şafak columnist İsmail Kılıçarslan, who had called for a boycott and for people to watch his new film via piracy, claiming that Demirkubuz had not reacted to Israel's attacks on Gaza.
Making a new post today, Zeki Demirkubuz announced that he had deleted his profane response.
Demirkubuz stated, "For humanitarian reasons, I am closing the matter and deleting the tweet in question."
