'Voting for YRP and Saadet is not permissible!' he had said: Fatih Portakal's harsh reaction to Cübbeli Ahmet's election provocation

Cübbeli Ahmet, who was expelled from the İsmailağa Community, claimed in a video he shared that it is not permissible to vote for parties outside the People's Alliance.

Cübbeli said, "Currently, it is not permissible to vote for candidates of the New Welfare Party (YRP), Saadet, etc., outside the People's Alliance, especially in places like Istanbul and Ankara where it is certain they cannot win, but where it is highly probable that they will cause the People's Alliance to lose and allow the CHP, DEM, and terrorists to win."

While Cübbeli Ahmet's words caused controversy, a harsh reaction came from journalist Fatih Portakal.

Speaking on the Sözcü TV Main News Bulletin, which he hosts, Portakal said, "Are you a prophet or something! Or, I don't know, on what basis can you issue such a fatwa! Did you receive a revelation? Do not believe these people," using striking expressions.

Fatih Portakal continued his words as follows;

“There is Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca, you know, he is known as such in the public eye. Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü made a television program and there he says; votes given to parties outside the People's Alliance, he says, are a sin. They are sinners, he says. What kind of a religious charlatan are you! I mean, he is burning his afterlife and doesn't realize it!

"NOT A RELIGIOUS FIGURE AT ALL"

During Ramadan, he says; votes given to parties outside this alliance are a sin, he says. He says sin will be written directly for those people. We are talking about the fact that this person who says this is not a religious figure, he is a religious charlatan; I mean, don't see everyone with a beard or a turban as a religious figure! But there are truly sincere religious figures on the path of Allah, on this path of the tariqa, and on the path of guidance. I am excluding you, but do not believe such religious charlatans!

"DID YOU RECEIVE A REVELATION"

Are you a prophet or something, saying it's a sin! Or, I don't know, on what basis can you issue such a fatwa! Did you receive a revelation? Do not believe these people because these people are people who are under the guidance of politics, who derive their power from politics, who have interests... People living in abundance and prosperity, do not believe them! Their path is an interesting path, and they continue to go this way."
