As the names of IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş come to the forefront within the CHP, the results of the poll conducted by AREA Research have become a major topic of discussion.

In the poll, participants were asked the question, "Who should be the main opposition's presidential candidate against Erdoğan?" According to the results, Mansur Yavaş ranked first with 35.2%, while Ekrem İmamoğlu remained at 17.8%. Meanwhile, 34.6% of participants responded that they had no opinion.

In the general framework, according to this poll, voters prefer Mansur Yavaş over Erdoğan with 52.9%, while Ekrem İmamoğlu appears to be ahead of President Erdoğan with 46.1%. In a matchup between Özgür Özel and Erdoğan, Erdoğan leads the race with 39.3%.

FATİH ALTAYLI'S COMMENTARY ON MANSUR YAVAŞ

Journalist Fatih Altaylı evaluated the AREA Research poll results. Speaking on his own YouTube channel, Altaylı made notable remarks about Mansur Yavaş. Stating that "His poll numbers appear high before the election period, but then they drop," Altaylı commented that "Ekrem İmamoğlu is a more political figure."
