In the Fatih district of Istanbul, an individual hurled insults and verbal abuse at people lining up to perform Friday prayers in a mosque courtyard. The suspect was apprehended by police shortly after the incident and was subsequently arrested and sent to prison by judicial authorities.
The incident occurred yesterday in the Mimar Hayrettin neighborhood of Istanbul's Fatih district.
According to allegations, a minor identified as M.D.A. hurled insults and verbal abuse at citizens who were lining up to perform prayers in a mosque courtyard.
The suspect also recorded those moments.
Following the circulation of the footage on social media, police teams took action, identified the suspect, and apprehended him in a short time.
The apprehended individual was arrested and sent to prison by judicial authorities on charges of "Inciting the Public to Hatred and Hostility or Degrading Them."
