He killed his father after taking him to a vacant lot and turned himself in to the police: 'He was abusing my stepsister'

The incident occurred on the road at Genel Konutlar Küme Evleri in the Turgut Özal neighborhood of Manisa's Şehzadeler district.

Around 09:40 in the morning, Mehmet Emin Uzmen, who brought his father Ahmet Uzmen to the Küme Evleri road on his motorcycle, shot and killed his father in the chest by firing two shots from the handgun he was carrying after an argument.

Some time after killing his father, Mehmet Emin Uzmen went to the Şehit Öztürk Police Station with his unlicensed handgun, claiming that his father had been abusing his 19-year-old stepsister, Y.U., and that he had taken his father to the scene on his motorcycle and killed him for this reason.

The teams that went to the scene found the lifeless body of father Ahmet Uzmen on the side of the road.

The body of father Uzmen was taken to the Manisa Merkezefendi State Hospital Forensic Medicine morgue for an autopsy.

Mehmet Emin Uzmen, who killed his father, was taken into custody by the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate to be referred to the courthouse.
