A man killed his mother, who had divorced his father 10 years ago. It was learned that the individual killed his mother, who had been divorced from his father for 10 years, by claiming she was seeing another man.
A 19-year-old individual, whose parents divorced 10 years ago, shot and killed his mother because she was seeing a man. In the incident that took place in Afyonkarahisar, the individual who fled after attacking his mother was caught following a police pursuit.
The incident occurred around 02:00 at night in the Fatih neighborhood of the city center. According to the information obtained, a person who called the 112 Emergency Call Center reported that there was a fight on the street where they lived and that a person had been shot.
Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The teams that arrived at the scene found a woman named Sevgi E. (41) lying motionless on the floor in the house. The woman, who was taken to Afyonkarahisar State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved and lost her life.
Taking the statements of eyewitnesses, the police teams determined that the people who carried out the incident fled on a motorcycle. Then, the teams that went after the individuals caught and detained the suspects named O.K. and the woman's son H.H.B. in an area close to the scene. In the investigation, it was determined that the person who pulled the trigger was H.H.B.
In his initial statement, the murder suspect claimed that he had heard about his mother's relationship with another man, who had divorced his father about 10 years ago, and that he committed the act for this reason. It was determined that the individuals threw the rifle they used in the incident into a vacant lot. It was reported that the procedures of the detained individuals at the police station are continuing.
