He said 'it was a mistake': A swift denial from Dilruba Kayserilioğlu to Özgür Özel!
Following CHP leader Özgür Özel's statement that it was a mistake for Dilruba Kayserilioğlu to sit in the protocol section, a response has come from Dilruba.
Dilruba Kayserilioğlu, who was tried for 'insulting the President' following her remarks in a street interview during the days when access to Instagram was restricted, had attended the 93rd İzmir International Fair, where CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was also present, and sat in the protocol section.
While AKP members reacted harshly to Dilruba Kayserilioğlu sitting in the protocol at that time, CHP leader Özel also offered self-criticism.
Speaking to Uğur Dündar on Sözcü TV, Özel stated, "Dilruba came and sat down. It was a mistake for someone thought to have insulted the AKP to sit in the protocol and to do so without retracting her words. It hurt feelings."
Dilruba Kayserilioğlu's response to these words from Özel was not delayed.
Posting on her X account, Kayserilioğlu wrote:
"Wow, WHAT A LIE. Did I surprise him? Thank God there is such a thing as phone records. We went for coffee, and upon insistence, it turned into a protocol appearance. Since he had come to me, I accepted it out of politeness, even though it had only been 1 day since I was released."
Yuhhh YALANA GEL?? Ben mi supriz yapmışım. Allahtan telefon kayıtları denen birşey var?? kahve içmeye diye gittik ısrar üzerine protokol çıktı. Bende kendisi bana geldi ayıp olmasın diye çıkalı 1 gün olduğu halde kabul ettim https://t.co/E5XaC0l9nc
