DETAILS HAVE EMERGED
Details have emerged regarding the operation in which Kosovo citizen Liridon Rexhepi, who provided the money network for the Israeli Intelligence Service, was captured as a result of the work of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT).
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined through information provided by the National Intelligence Organization that Liridon Rexhepi had held meetings with the Israeli Intelligence Service. It was identified that the suspect transferred money via payment systems in line with instructions he received to individuals in Turkey who were gathering information and documents on targets of the Israeli Intelligence Service, as well as those conducting photo, video, and drone surveillance of the residences of these targets. An operation was launched to apprehend the suspects. In the operation carried out on August 30, two suspects named Liridon Rexhepi and Y.B. were detained. While Y.B., who was referred to judicial authorities, was released under judicial control measures including a travel ban, Liridon Rexhepi was arrested.
