Veteran actor Kadir İnanır was rushed to the hospital this morning after falling ill at his home.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca made a statement on his social media account regarding the health status of Kadir İnanır, who is currently being treated in intensive care.

In his post, Minister Koca stated, "Mr. Kadir İnanır, who was brought to the emergency department of Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital this morning with a loss of consciousness, has been admitted to intensive care following a successful operation to open a blocked cerebral artery; it has been decided to keep him intubated and sedated for monitoring. Plans are in place to wake him up after evaluating his clinical progress and brain imaging. I extend my best wishes for a speedy recovery to our esteemed artist's family and all his loved ones due to this distressing event."
