In a post on his social media account, Minister Memişoğlu stated, "Grand National Assembly of Turkey Deputy Speaker and Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder is undergoing surgery due to a tear in the main artery leading from the heart.
The surgical process is ongoing, and his condition is being closely monitored.
