Heart could not withstand the beauty pageant

The 6th International Horse and Equestrian Fair, EQUIST Istanbul Horse Show, was held at the Eurasia Show and Art Center in Yenikapı. At the fair, information about horse breeding and equestrianism was provided, and various products were showcased. The Trojan Horse Beauty Pageant was also held as part of the fair.

Thirty-two horses, which usually race fiercely to finish first on the tracks, took to the podium this time to win the beauty pageant. The horses, competing intensely on the track, appeared before the jury to be selected as the winner.

A jury of 5 experts in the field of equestrianism evaluated the horses in the beauty pageant based on their physical appearance, head, neck, coat, color, legs, feet, condition, grooming, and general impression. The horses, called to the track one by one, were greatly admired by everyone from 7 to 70 who came to watch the competition.

After taking a lap around the podium, the horses appeared before the jury as a group. Various awards were given to the horses and their owners who placed in the competition.

The 6th International Horse and Equestrian Fair, EQUIST Istanbul Horse Show will welcome visitors until June 1.

SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK

An Arabian horse participating in the Trojan Horse Beauty Pageant, where 32 horses competed, suffered a heart attack and died while waiting for its turn.

The area around the deceased horse was cordoned off with vehicles. The horse was removed from the area with the help of an excavator.

Meanwhile, the beauty pageant for the other horses continued.

Providing information about the 6th International Horse and Equestrian Fair, EQUIST Istanbul Horse Show and the Trojan Horse Beauty Pageant, Eko Fuarcılık Administrative Director İlker Altun said, "The horse and equestrian fair is being held today at the Eurasia Show Center. We have participants from many countries, including India. There are stands exhibiting all kinds of products related to horses and equestrian facilities. We expect around 15 thousand visitors to our fair, which will continue until 18:00 this Saturday. In addition to horses and horse-related products, various panels are being held here regarding horse culture, history, care, and nutrition. Equestrian action shows, advanced riding techniques, and various competitions, primarily the beauty pageant, are being held. It was a major deficiency in my opinion that a society that has established civilizations and made conquests with horses throughout its history did not have its own horse brand. This competition emerged with the thought of how I could contribute to this deficiency. 32 horses will compete here."
