"According to the latest assessments, the rainfall expected in Istanbul on Saturday, January 20, 2024, is forecast to intensify after the afternoon hours, becoming heavy (21-50 kg/m2) rain and downpours. Citizens should be careful and take precautions against negative consequences such as flash floods, inundation, and disruptions to transportation," it said.
