Herd of wild boars descends on beach in Marmaris

In Marmaris, one of Turkey's most popular holiday destinations, a herd of wild boars entered a beach. Vacationers filmed the boars and shared the footage on social media. The images spread quickly and led citizens to express their concerns.

Experts state that the natural habitats of wild boars have shrunk, particularly due to forest fires, forcing them to descend into city centers and beaches. The increasing number of forest fires in recent years has led to the destruction of natural habitats and caused animals to approach residential areas in search of food. This situation has been observed not only in Marmaris but also in various summer regions across Turkey.
