A camera hidden inside a cardboard box was discovered in the women's locker room at the Federal Mogul factory in Kocaeli. Following the workers' statements, the factory's security supervisor was taken into custody by police teams.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 10, at the factory named Federal Mogul.
According to allegations, a female worker noticed light emitting from a cardboard box located in the changing room where she was changing her clothes.
The female employee found a device inside the box she examined.
When the female employee reported the issue to the factory management, police teams arrived at the factory.
During the investigation conducted by the police teams, it was determined that the device was a camera used for recording. The teams conducted inspections in the factory's women's changing room. Statements were taken from other female employees and factory managers.
In line with the statements, the factory's security supervisor, A.T., was taken into custody at his home in Gölcük. A.T.'s employment was terminated by the security firm he worked for.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
