High school students poisoned in Ardahan
The Ardahan Governor's Office announced that 25 high school students in the city have been admitted to the hospital with suspected food poisoning.
According to a statement from the Ardahan Governor's Office, 25 students staying at the dormitory of the Şehit Türkmen Tekin Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the city center were taken to Ardahan State Hospital under the supervision of their teachers after experiencing symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
The statement noted that all students who were admitted to the hospital with suspected food poisoning were discharged following treatment in the emergency departments, and included the following remarks:
"There are no students in serious condition or receiving inpatient treatment. Food and water samples provided to the students at the dormitory have been delivered to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Provincial Health Directorate for necessary examinations. The administrative investigation initiated by our Governor's Office is ongoing, and the matter is being closely monitored."
