Highway access closed at Avcılar toll booths
Access to and from the highway at the Avcılar toll collection station on the European Motorway has been closed due to ongoing construction work.
Due to the demolition of toll islands and canopies at the O-3 European Motorway Avcılar Toll Collection Station, which is under the jurisdiction of the 1st Regional Directorate of Highways, access to and from the highway at the Avcılar toll booths has been closed.
Work to remove the toll booths has begun with the help of heavy machinery brought to the site on the highway.

The work, which will be carried out on a 24-hour basis, will last for 6 days.

In a statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Transportation Management Center (UYM), it was noted that within the scope of the "demolition of canopies and buildings and infrastructure construction for the Free Flow System" at the toll booths under the responsibility of the 1st Regional Directorate of Highways, demolition work on the toll islands and canopies at the O-3 European Motorway Avcılar Toll Collection Station would be carried out, and that access to and from the highway at the Avcılar toll booths would be closed, with drivers advised to use alternative routes.
