Hikmet Karaman's confession about Faruk Koca years later: 'He attacked me too'
Former Ankaragücü manager Hikmet Karaman made statements following the attack on referee Halil Umut Meler last night. Karaman stated that Ankaragücü President Faruk Koca had also attacked him.

Following the attack, Halil Umut Meler was taken to the hospital, where bleeding and a fracture were detected around his left eye.

Hikmet Karaman, who managed Ankaragücü four times and worked with President Faruk Koca during his last tenure, made a shocking confession during a live broadcast following the events. The experienced manager revealed that during his last stint at Ankaragücü in 2021, President Faruk Koca had also attacked him. The 63-year-old experienced manager stated, "I swallowed it at the time and didn't disclose it, but I am disclosing it now. While I was managing Ankaragücü, Faruk Koca also attacked me with a punch."
