With citizens who spent the Eid al-Adha holiday in their hometowns or holiday resorts beginning their return, traffic density has increased on the Tekirdağ-Istanbul highway.
As vacationers began their return, a steady flow of traffic formed, particularly in the Yenice, Yeniçiftlik, Beyazköy, University, and Kumbağ sections of the Tekirdağ-Istanbul highway.
Police and gendarmerie teams, continuing their efforts to prevent disruptions in transportation, are warning drivers about excessive speed, following distance, and improper overtaking.
