Holiday return rush at Istanbul Bus Terminal
There is heavy congestion at the Grand Istanbul Bus Terminal on the final day of the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The return journey continues for those heading back to the city following the 9-day holiday, as well as for those arriving in Istanbul for the break. The Grand Istanbul Bus Terminal is among the locations experiencing significant congestion.

Those arriving by car to pick up or drop off passengers have caused traffic congestion on the terminal's access roads.

Bus driver Fikret Akpınar said, "The terminal is very busy today. There is congestion in both arrivals and departures. We are having trouble with entries and exits. There are also a lot of people. It wasn't this crowded yesterday. Now there is congestion on both sides."

Eren Akkılıç, who is a university student in Afyonkarahisar and spent his holiday in Istanbul, said, "Compared to the other holiday, Istanbul was emptier this time. The other holiday was more crowded. Because there was less traffic and congestion, we were able to visit our relatives who live further away more easily. Now, there is a lot of congestion at the terminal due to the holiday return."
