Holiday return traffic on the Düzce and Bolu sections of the Anatolian Motorway
Holidaymakers returning from their Eid al-Adha break outside of Istanbul are causing intermittent heavy traffic flow on the Düzce and Bolu sections of the Anatolian Motorway.
On the final day of the holiday, activity is increasing in the region as some drivers begin their return journeys from their hometowns or vacation spots.
Traffic is flowing with intermittent congestion on the Istanbul-bound lanes of the motorway, particularly at the Üçköprü, Kaynaşlı, and Düzce toll booths, as well as the Bolu Mountain Tunnel area.
Traffic is proceeding normally in both directions on the Ankara-bound lanes of the motorway and on the D-100 highway.
Meanwhile, heavy traffic flow is also being observed on the Karabük section of the D-100 highway, which connects the Anatolian Motorway to Black Sea cities.
Traffic flow along the route in the Ankara direction remains normal.
