Hopa Municipality hangs İmamoğlu's diploma on its building

The CHP-run Hopa Municipality has issued a notable response to Istanbul University's decision to cancel İmamoğlu's diploma.

Hopa Mayor Utku Cihan announced that they have hung the diploma of IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu on the municipal building.

In a post shared on his social media account, Cihan stated the following:

"We do not accept the cancellation of our Mayor Ekrem's diploma or the lawlessness committed against our mayor! We have hung the diploma of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Union of Municipalities of Turkey President Ekrem İmamoğlu on our Hopa Municipality building. There is no salvation alone, either all together or none of us!"

Ekrem Başkanımızın diplomasının iptalini ve başkanımıza yapılan hukuksuzluğu kabul etmiyoruz!

İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi ve Türkiye Belediyeler Birliği Başkanı Ekrem İmamoğlu’nun diplomasını Hopa Belediyesi binamıza astık.
