An anxious wait continues for two children from the Biçer family who were on a ship that reportedly sank shortly after departing from Kyrenia in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, bound for Mersin.

While the mother, father, and one child from the 5-member Biçer family traveling on the ship were rescued, it was reported that there has been no news from 6-year-old Mehmet Asaf Biçer and 12-year-old Saliha Miray Biçer.

It was learned that the family had gone to Cyprus for a vacation. Their relatives living in their hometown of Reyhanlı are waiting for good news regarding the two missing siblings.

Grandmother Saliha Biçer, who hopes for her grandchildren to be found, asked anyone who has seen them or has information to notify them.
