Horrific accident in Bartın! Worker shuttle buses collide: There are dead and injured...
One person lost their life and 27 people were injured as a result of a collision between two worker shuttle buses in Bartın.
In the Kurtköy village area of Bartın, a minibus carrying workers with license plate 74 M 0203, driven by Necmi G. (67), collided with a worker shuttle bus with license plate 74 M 0469, driven by Erol A. (50), which was traveling in the same direction. Due to the impact of the collision, the worker shuttle buses overturned.
Upon notification, police, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical personnel determined that the driver, Necmi G., had lost his life. 27 people injured in the accident, 2 of whom are in serious condition, were taken to the hospital.
Bartın Mayor Hüseyin Fahri Fırıncıoğlu also arrived at the scene of the accident and received information from the authorities.
