Horrific accident on the TAG Motorway
On the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep (TAG) Motorway, 3 people died and 11 were injured after a truck collided with a minibus, an excavator, and an asphalt paving vehicle.
The truck, whose license plate and driver have not yet been identified, struck a minibus traveling in front of it in an area where road construction work was underway near the Narlı Junction.
HEAVY TOLL IN THE ACCIDENT
The truck then hit an excavator and an asphalt paving vehicle present in the area for road construction, overturned, and caught fire. Following the accident, a large number of ambulances and fire crews were dispatched to the scene. According to initial reports, 3 people died and 11 were injured in the accident.
THE INJURED WERE TAKEN TO HOSPITALS
The injured were transported by ambulance to hospitals in Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep. Due to the accident, long traffic queues formed on the Gaziantep-Adana direction of the TAG Motorway. Teams closed the road to traffic starting from the Gaziantep West toll booths and diverted vehicles to alternative routes.
The vehicles, which were extinguished by fire crews arriving at the scene, were rendered unusable.
