Horrific incident in Pendik: Dismembered male body found in two separate trash containers

The incident occurred in Pendik Dumlupınar Neighborhood. According to allegations, a citizen saw a dismembered body while throwing trash into a container in the morning hours.

The situation was immediately reported to police teams. Upon the notification, a large number of police units were dispatched to the scene. Police teams cordoned off the area and launched a wide-scale investigation. As a result of detailed examinations, it was revealed that the body, with its arms and legs separated from the torso, had its scalp skinned, was divided into 16 pieces, and was discarded in multiple trash containers.

According to initial findings, it was determined that the body belongs to a male. While the body parts were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for examination, police work regarding the incident continues.

A citizen named Salih Burma said, "We don't know exactly what happened. I was going to the market, we saw police and plainclothes officers at the door, they said there was a body. Friends say there are dismembered bodies in the trash two streets behind. They are currently investigating them".

A citizen named Cahit Atam stated, "They dumped a body down here, the police came. They were dismembered, they threw them here. They are currently searching piece by piece, searching the trash".

CHILLING DETAIL: CUT INTO 16 PIECES

The details that emerged from the incident are horrifying. As a result of the examinations carried out in the containers, the head and other body parts were collected. In the preliminary autopsy and examination work carried out at the Forensic Medicine Institute, it was determined that the scalp had been skinned, both legs had been severed from the body, and there were also incisions at the knees and ankles. It was determined that there was a platinum implant in one of the legs found and that the body had been divided into 16 pieces. The teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau continue their work on the matter.
