Horror at the hospital: He showered his ex-wife with bullets!
In Kahramanmaraş, 42-year-old Eser Karaca, who worked at a private hospital, lost her life after being shot with a pump-action shotgun by her ex-husband. The suspect fled the scene but was apprehended by police shortly after.
A horrific incident occurred in the morning hours at a private hospital located on Doktor Mustafa Bey Street in the Yamaçtepe neighborhood of Kahramanmaraş's Onikişubat district.
42-year-old Eser Karaca, who worked as a medical secretary at the hospital, was shot and killed by her ex-husband, A.A., while she was on duty.
HE ARRIVED WITH A PUMP-ACTION SHOTGUN AND SHOT HIS EX-WIFE
According to allegations, A.A. arrived at the hospital where Eser Karaca worked and opened fire on her with a pump-action shotgun he had brought with him. Great panic ensued at the hospital during the incident. As Karaca collapsed to the ground after being struck by the pellets, the assailant fled the scene on foot.

COLLEAGUES INTERVENED, BUT SHE COULD NOT BE SAVED
The first intervention for the critically injured Eser Karaca was performed by her healthcare colleagues at the hospital. However, despite all efforts, Karaca lost her life.
POLICE APPREHENDED HIM IN A SHORT TIME
Following the incident, a large number of police officers were dispatched to the area. While crime scene investigation teams conducted a comprehensive examination at the hospital, police teams pursuing the fleeing suspect apprehended A.A. in a short time and took him into custody. The pump-action shotgun used in the attack was also seized from the suspect.

INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
While the processing of the detained A.A. continues at the police station, the prosecutor's office has launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
