Hospital gang scandal: Caused the deaths of 12 babies!

A complaint from a new mother has brought to light a healthcare scandal that has shaken Turkey. A hospital gang that infiltrated neonatal units was reportedly filling the intensive care units of contracted hospitals in exchange for 8,000 TL per day.

THEY CAUSED THE DEATHS OF BABIES

It is alleged that the gang, which included doctors and nurses, caused the deaths of 12 babies. Journalist Emrullah Erdinç announced this horrific situation with video and audio recordings he shared on his YouTube channel.

THE SCANDAL BEGAN WITH A MOTHER'S STATEMENT

The scandal, featured in a video published on journalist Emrullah Erdinç's YouTube channel, emerged following a complaint from a mother who stated that her baby had not been shown to her for 14 days and that she was not even allowed to breastfeed. The mother questioned why her baby, who was healthy before birth, had been admitted to intensive care.

ILLICIT PROFIT AND THE GANG'S METHODS

It was determined that the gang issued invoices of 8,000 TL per day, admitting babies to intensive care who did not need to be hospitalized, thereby generating over 1 billion in illicit profit.

Contracted Hospitals and Arrests

The gang was filling intensive care units by making agreements with specific hospitals. It was recently reported that some 112 emergency service personnel associated with this gang have also been arrested.

A YOUNG NURSE'S DESPERATION

A 23-year-old nurse stated that there were 9 babies in intensive care and their families were waiting, asking, "What will I do if something happens to one of these babies?"

HORRIFYING INSTRUCTIONS

While one of the gang members said, "If something happens, call the doctor," the response of another was terrifying: "If they expire, pull the plug."

ALLEGATIONS SPREAD

Allegations that the scandal mostly took place in Istanbul, and that similar incidents occurred in Çorlu and Tekirdağ, are being investigated. Erdinç stated that he shared the video and audio recordings uncensored and that the events are much deeper.
