HSK decision published in the Official Gazette
The decision regarding the determination of the judicial districts for newly established high criminal courts has been published in the Official Gazette and has come into effect.
Accordingly, the letter dated May 13 regarding the proposal of the Ministry of Justice Directorate General of Personnel for the determination of the judicial districts of the newly established Sandıklı, Serik, Suşehri, and Ortaca High Criminal Courts was discussed by the General Assembly of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK).
The General Assembly decided to remove the Sandıklı district from the jurisdiction of the Afyonkarahisar High Criminal Court and designate the jurisdiction of the Sandıklı High Criminal Court as "the districts of Sandıklı, Hocalar, and Kızılören"; to remove the Serik district from the jurisdiction of the Manavgat High Criminal Court and designate the jurisdiction of the Serik High Criminal Court as "the district of Serik"; to remove the Suşehri district from the jurisdiction of the Şebinkarahisar High Criminal Court and designate the jurisdiction of the Suşehri High Criminal Court as "the districts of Suşehri, Akıncılar, Gölova, İmranlı, and Koyulhisar"; and to remove the Ortaca district from the jurisdiction of the Fethiye High Criminal Court and designate the jurisdiction of the Ortaca High Criminal Court as "the districts of Ortaca, Dalaman, and Köyceğiz".
The decision will be implemented as of the date the specified courts begin operations.
